the first one here form 2006, the one with the red bg, i remember that used to be one of my favorite pics from dA. like I used to think it was the shit. like it was totally inspiring to me. Seeing it here just made me remeber how much your art used to impact me. c: <333

Valixy's design sure did change quite a bit, but it seems it always stayed pretty much the same.
My sister is an artist and when she changes how one of her characters look, they REALLY look different from their original appearances! XD
But I think it's good that Valixy never changed too much, even though they say that change is good, a character's appearance is what people will generally remember about them. That and their personality can leave a lasting impression, I guess.

I also don't think that you failed at any of these pictures, they look really great. The anatomy looks perfect in all of them to me as well! <3

And she used to be a shape shifter? It must be fun to draw pictures for a shape shifter, though I suppose there is no consistency, but that's what makes it interesting, right?
